About Mackie Rondon

Professionally trained at the renowned Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan, Mackie Rondon enrolled in  Fashion Design, and three classes before graduating, switched to a  Footwear and Accessories mayor with a minor in Millenary.  She also obtained  a B.S degree  in Production Management from the same school.

My Story: I got my first job working at a Shoe Retail Store back home, and litter that I knew that designing and making shoes will be in my life for almost two decades.  I  love how I feel when I wear a pair of shoes that help me to say  something about me or state how I feel about life, without  having to open my mouth.

My Mission: Is to teach others the art of shoemaking by  encouraging them to use their imagination and express the importance of gaining experience by doing, before deciding  making a skill  your life career or journey.

Why Shoemaking: Although no one in my family knows the first thing about shoemaking, I felt in love with manufacturing while working as an Assistant Shoe Factory Manager  for the Steve Madden shoe brand, in Queens, NY and as they say, the rest is history.
