Vegetable tanned leather refers to trees and other natural elements used in the tanning process of cow leather.  It is characterized for it richness and aging process, meaning that it gets and looks prettier, over time; and let’s not forget its “real” leather smell.

The natural tanning Processing takes approximately six weeks, which makes this material a very environmentally friendly product.

Anyone who would like to explore the field of shoe making, aspiring footwear designer, any creative individual that wishes to gain a skills without the pressure of attending a traditional University or trade school.

We also welcome individual with experience in the shoe industry or interested in entering the shoe manufacturing field.  

We limit our age admission to ages 13 and up.   A screening interview is encouraged before paying for any workshops, for your child, due to the use of heavy machineries and some strong chemicals used  for completing your  pair of shoes, in our facilities.

We offer a 24 hours cancellation policy. After that we are able to offer you another one of our classes or the same one for a later date.

Although we love visitors, our policy is to have you schedule an appointment before coming by the factory.  Please call us the first Thursday of every month, between the hours of 3:00pm and 6:00pm to schedule a visit, for the following month.

No, they are not. Our lasts are made in Europe. We have team up with a family owned shoe factory that has being in the business for over 50 years. Our vegetable leathers are made to order with a family owned tannery in Mexico.

Yes, you can order your own custom last, but a minimum of 2 size runs (24 pairs) order is required to payment of 50% the order needs to be paid for, before any development is started.

Our primary styles will focus on making high quality leather sandals made with eco-friendly materials, up-cycled products sourced in Europe and the United States. We strive to continually improve our manufacturing methods to minimize waste and promote vegan leather products and more green solutions in the future. 

No, we cannot. But we hope that by the beginning of 2021, we could offer our sandal making services to brands that would like to focus on “made in America” products oriented on their customer’s fast fashion and the use of eco and environmentally friendly materials.

No, we do not.  By the year 2021, we’ll offer exclusive shoe sandal design services, using sustainable and up-cycle materials and the ability for brands to buy small quantities; for being able to react to an evolving fashion and trend driven clientele, while protecting the environment.
